Ancient Roman Glass Necklace

These glass fragments originate from parts of ancient blown glass vessels of the Roman Byzantine Empire. This tear drop fragment is encased in sterling silver. The silver wrapping is adorned with amethyst, garnet, amber and blue topaz. Shown on a 15" sterling silver collar, but it can also be worn as a pin. The tear drop glass fragment measures 2 1/4" X 2".
